In a world where education can transform lives, the project “Begin” by the All Island Schools’ English Literary Association (AISELA) of ELSL stands as a beacon of hope. Dedicated to providing English education to orphaned children, the project addresses the challenges in the country’s English education system. Traditional teaching methods and a shortage of qualified teachers create hurdles, especially for government and international school students. Orphanages, facing financial constraints, find it even more challenging to meet increasing tuition fees. The “Begin” project, with support from ELSL, sends volunteers to orphanages, offering consistent and creative English education. The project is not just about language; it’s about empowerment and creating brighter futures for all these children.
